Le Meridien Ramadhan Feast

This fasting month, strengthen ties with family, friends and business associates with a buka puasa fare that is in true muhibbah spirit. Located at the transportation hub of the city, Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur offers a convenient and hassle-free location for breaking fast. There are no shortages of dining options with three venues to choose from – Latest Recipe, Al Nafourah and the Sultan’s ballroom.

At Latest Recipe, diners can savour dishes that are prepared ‘a la minute’ with personalised and individual servings of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Western delights. Located at Level 5 of the hotel, Latest Recipe provides an avenue for diners to experience a medley of cuisines while watching chefs in action as they dish out freshly cooked food enough to sharpen appetites for more good things to come.

Alternatively, one can opt for a Middle Eastern flair at Al Nafourah. Lavishly adorned, the restaurant emulates a desert oasis with Moorish arches and plush décor. The scent of rose water and freshly baked saj bread permeate the air as one step into Al Nafourah. Situated at Level 8, the restaurant serves Turkish, Lebanese, Tunisian as well as Moroccan cuisine. Complete the Middle Eastern dining experience with Shish Kebabs, a dish consisting of small cubes of beef, lamb, chicken and seafood threaded on a skewer and chargrilled over hot coals. Seven different types of sauces, ranging from spicy Harrisah sauce with olive oil, saffron garlic aioli sauce to roasted bell pepper with Sumac complement the Shish Kebabs perfectly.

Opulent in design, the Sultan’s ballroom is perfect for entertaining corporate clients or for large family gatherings this Ramadhan. Revel in the luxurious settings, complete with crystal chandeliers while enjoying a wide selection of authentic Malay cuisine prepared according to age-old recipes with a twist to suit the modern palate.

“My team of 40 chefs is preparing over 100 dishes to provide more variety to suit every palate,” says Chef Antoine Rodriquez, Executive Chef of Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur.
